FCKEditor Now In Use

November 9, 2008 by tsliker

Up until today I was using BUEditor for editing this blog.  Functionality is fairly limited.  It seems more geared toward someone who is comfortable with HTML.  Now I've installed FCKEditor and this is my first post using it.

I initially tried to insert a picture, but was surprised to see a new Image Upload screen-- it was the FCKEditor upload page, not the IMCE Upload that was previously in use.  I found the following issue on Drupal.org that helped me figure out the problem:  http://drupal.org/node/224492

Upon further review, I realized I COULD get to the IMCE Image upload module by clicking on the Link Tab and then clicking on the Browse Server button.  From there, I was able to find an image, upload it, and send it to FCKEditor, all using the IMCE module.  Nice!
