eCommerce Sitessample

Broadstreet has developed expertise in two very distinct approaches for building eCommerce solutions.  ProStores is an eBay-owned company that provides a very sophisticated hosted solution that allows for almost limitless customization.   It is a bullet-proof solution and can provide you a a very functional, very easy to use eCommerce site in just a few weeks.  sample

Another approach is to use Drupal, an open-source (free) content management system along with Ubercart, an open-source shopping cart solution.  A Drupal/Ubercart solution will allow for much more flexibility, the ability to easily add a blog, a calendar, a discussion board, or numerous other features  to your site.  Thissample type of site will take a little more effort to build and will be a little more costly to maintain.

Web 2.0 Speaking Engagements

A wise man once said, "Do what you are passionate about," and when you hear Tom Sliker talk about Web 2.0 and the potential impact on your business or non-profit, you will understand that he is truly doing that.   Tom is regularly featured at Rotary Clubs, Chambers of Commerce, and other small business meetings, and is also available for your industry conference or business's special meetings.  Below is a brief description of the different presentations available.  Customized presentations can be developed for a fee.

Basic Web Sites

We have developed a process for building inexpensive basic Web sites that is very repeatable and delivers the most value for a small investment.  Our target customer is a small business or non-profit that needs an attractive, basic Web site with limited functionality.  Our clients don't want to go out and find their own hosting provider, register domains, or select a "Web-in-a-box" service.   They want to choose a template, send us details on what they want on their site, and have a Web Site up and running in a week or two maximum.  Along the way, they might also want some advice on what works best on the Web, and they might want to invest in promoting their site via Google and other search engines.
