The Race Shop
In April 2009, James Embro, on behalf of The Race Shop in Atlanta, GA, contacted Broadstreet. The Race Shop (www.AtlantaRaceShop.com) wanted to expand their brand awareness by creating a Drupal-based web site that would provide more interaction with their customers and encourage community among like-minded enthusiasts. Broadstreet helped The Race Shop find a web host, pick out an appropriate design, and built the foundational Web site. The site is built so that Race Shop employees are able to add videos, upload photos, and describe product inventory as needed.
Shortly after building the initial website, Broadstreet set The Race Shop up with a Twitter account, thus increasing their interaction with customers and their social media presence. We incorporated a link to twitter on The Race Shop's homepage which allows the customers to follow The Race Shop as well as read their latest comments on twitter.
The Race Shop also expressed interest in a blog and photo gallery with which to keep friends informed with The Race Shop's world-wide adventures. During their adventures, the Race Shop race team wanted to be able to use their site's blog, photo gallery, and Twitter to keep followers updated. This has proven to be a great success.
